The GlassDoctor kit is designed specifically for self-repair of a cracked windscreen. The characteristic feature of this compound is its amazingly low viscosity, very close to the viscosity of water. Due to this GlassDoctor has the ability to fill the crack under the action of capillary forces. During its further polymerisation, the compound shrinks and tightens the edges of the crack, preventing its further expansion. The crack is sealed in a vacuum with a special restorative compound. After a few minutes, the vacuum system is removed from the glass and cleaned to even out the surface.

The GlassDoctor indscreen repair kit is specially designed for repairing small cracks in the windscreen. The characteristic feature of this adhesive is its remarkably low viscosity, very close to the viscosity of water. This enables the windscreen repair kit to fill the crack by capillary forces. During subsequent polymerisation, the adhesive shrinks and tightens the edges of the crack, preventing its further expansion.
How to use:
1. Remove glass shards by cutting them off with a razor. Attach the base of the applicator to the windscreen. Make sure the sealant is positioned over the glass. Do not cover cracks with suction cups. Note: The suction cup feet are adjustable.
2. Screw the resin chamber into the centre ring. b) Turn the screw clockwise (clockwise) until the rubber tab on the windshield is fully, but carefully. Excessive pressure will affect the flowability of the repair resin and the effectiveness of the repair.
3. Squeeze 5-8 drops of repair resin (depending on the extent of the damage) into the resin chamber. If resin leaks out of the lower resin chamber, carefully turn the resin clockwise, just enough to prevent leakage.
4. After venting, remove the entire unit using the small suction cup clips. Carefully remove excess repair resin from the applicator so that it does not drip onto the windscreen. Apply a drop of repair resin to areas where damage is still visible and cover with a polishing strip to complete the process. When using repair strips, they do not stick, so you need to be careful when placing the strips on the glass.
5. After completing the entire application procedure, place the vehicle (glass) in direct sunlight or use a UV lamp. Allow the repair resin to fully cure (approximately 5-10 minutes), then remove the strips from the polisher.
